Refund Policy

1. Semester Billing
Criterio offers a single premium membership (BTEC+) billed at $25 per semester. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your selected payment method for the upcoming academic semester.
2. Strict No-Refund Condition (File Uploads)
Important Notice on AI Usage
Due to the high computational costs associated with processing large documents through advanced AI models, you are not eligible for any refunds once you have uploaded an assignment file or brief into a course workspace.
Using the AI extraction engine consumes non-recoverable resources. Once this service is utilized, the sale for the semester is final.
3. Eligible Refunds
If you have subscribed but have not uploaded any files or utilized the AI parsing engine, you may request a refund within 3 days of the initial purchase. To request an eligible refund, please contact support@criterio.co with your account email and receipt.
4. Manual Testing Accounts
Accounts granted temporary free testing access via email request are provided "as-is" and will be strictly terminated after the agreed-upon testing period (maximum 2 months).
5. Account Termination
If your account is terminated or suspended by Criterio due to a violation of our Terms of Service (such as sharing your account with others), you will not be entitled to any refund for unused time on your subscription.
