  • Account Information: Your name, email address, and basic profile data when you register or request testing access.
  • Workspace Data: The assignment briefs (PDFs), course structures, and notes you upload or create within the platform.
  • Usage Data: Anonymous analytics on how you interact with the workspace to help us improve UI/UX performance.

3. How We Use and Process Your Data

Criterio uses advanced AI models to process your course materials. By uploading files, you consent to this processing. However, we have strict guardrails:

  • No AI Training: We use enterprise API endpoints for our AI partners (such as Anthropic and OpenAI). These partners are legally bound by "Zero-Data Retention" agreements, meaning your assignment briefs and notes are never used to train their models.
  • Service Delivery: Your data is used exclusively to generate your assignment structures, extract criteria, and provide you with contextual AI tutor feedback.

4. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We only share necessary data with trusted third-party service providers (like payment processors and cloud hosting providers) strictly for the purpose of operating the Service.

5. Data Security & Storage

Your data is securely stored using industry-standard encryption (Supabase). While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your personal information, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. You can delete your courses and workspaces at any time directly from the dashboard. To request full account deletion, please contact support.
